La Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3 GTX Black is a men’s low-cut hiking shoe designed for moving confidently across varied terrain, from forest paths to technical mountain trails. This model blends the benefits of hiking shoes, trekking shoes and outdoor footwear, delivering foot protection, stability and long-distance comfort. The black colorway gives the shoe a versatile, sporty look that fits perfectly into both mountain gear and everyday outdoor use.
The upper is made from breathable, durable recycled ripstop mesh and is reinforced for extra protection on demanding terrain. A rubber toe cap and protective rand help shield the foot from rocks, roots and trail debris, while the integrated gaiter-like collar helps limit the entry of gravel, stones and dirt. As a result, the shoe is well suited to hiking, fast hiking and demanding walks on uneven ground.
Moisture protection comes from the GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort membrane, which provides waterproof performance together with breathability. In real use, this means more comfort in wet weather and changing trail conditions. The Ortholite® Hybrid Mountain Hiking 5 mm insole supports step-by-step comfort, while the EVA foam midsole adds cushioning, support and stability throughout the hike.
The FriXion® White outsole is designed to deliver grip and durability across multiple surfaces. La Sportiva’s Impact Brake System™ is intended to improve traction on ascents and support braking control on descents. Flex grooves along the sole enhance freedom of movement, especially on more technical sections of trail.
