The La Sportiva TX4 Evo ST W Redwood/Onyx is a women’s approach shoe engineered for technical terrain, combining durability, lightness, and optimum grip. The upper uses high-tenacity TPU mesh reinforced with PES yarn, many components recycled, and includes a rubber rand and toe cap for protection. This design balances airflow and toughness.
Inside, the 4 mm Ortholite Hybrid Approach insole provides comfort over extended use. The midsole features MEMlex injected framework and TPU shank, with about 7% recycled EVA for cushioning and torsional control. The Vibram MegaGrip outsole, integrated with Impact Brake System and Climbing Zone at the toe, ensures confident traction on both ascents and descents. The STB Control System™ adds lateral rigidity where needed without stiffening the entire sole. The Resole Platform allows replacing the tread, extending the shoe’s lifecycle. At approximately 405 g per boot, it is relatively light for the performance features it offers.
